the plot thickens!!

oh good heavens!! it gets worse! today i started my new job, i had to drive to Newcastle-under-lyme for training at the HQ. While travelling up the motorway I looked in my wing mirror (driver side) and had a sneaking suspicion it was travelling south, nevertheless i carried on to my destination. After a few hours in N-U-L we had to go back to our own office for further induction and on the return journey I (again being the sensible driver that I am) checked in my wing mirror..that is to say i looked at where it should be, and there was a gaping space! Yes folks at 70mph the glass from my wing mirror flew off never to be seen again, i sincerely hope it didnt cause an accident! I was suddenly very aware of the fact that i was driving somewhat illegally oh crap! or thoughts to that effect! now i had a dilemma, what to do?! I had no means of contacting anyone from the company to let them know what had happened, i thought being as it was my first day it'd make a terrible first impression to arrive late, my only excuse being sorry folks had to buy a new wing mirror, and i didn't really think i could afford to be mising out on the oh so crucial training (form signing). So i pulled into the slow lane and skulked along behind the incredibly slow lorries hoping the cops weren't gonna do me! i was terrified i was gonna be the last one to arrive but no! i was second, i raced in with no lunch and the cretins all drifted in at their leisure all hapily fed! grrrrr so i phoned my mum and tried to explain what kind of wing mirror i needed, hopefully she's got the right one, she didnt seem too sure on the phone but i'm gonna pick it up in a bit, fingers crossed! and as if that wasnt enough, my breaks have started squealing!!! my car doesnt love me :( and the hand brake has given up the ghost hee hee my ickle tanker is fallin apart at the seams! oh and big big big massive super huge shout out to my lovely who i'm oh so proud of well done honey on passing your driving test..and just in time from the seems of it, we're gonna need your car :D x mwah! x
