busy busy busy!
well it's never a boring bank holiday weekend in my life, i really think you should make the most of them!..let's see, not the one just past but the one previous was preparing for my new job, the one before that was meningitis scare and this one that has just been was social overload!
My socail life has been a somewhat baron wasteland of late but then the bank holiday weekend approached and it alll took off!! Friday night I went out to the pub with my sister and then on to meet friends at the wahrf, it was a top notch night (ex central once again though urgh!) It was a jam night and chrissy's chap played with his dad who has been playing clarinet for 40 years! he was incredible!! the music was awesome plus loads of people i hadn't seen for ages were there..i finally sorted all that silliness with lucid out..i didnt have a drop to drink all night and had an awesome night, what started out as being an early one finished up with me strolling in at 11am oooh :)
satruday i got some much needed retail therapy (my stylie), in and out in a flash, bargain central and plenty to show for my hour's efforts! i finally spent the voucher david got me for christmas found some oh so lovely summer stuff then back home to pack in prep for sunday.
sunday we went to hillsong london, what an awesome place..i went on the underground for the first time, fun and games with neeka haha! we kept a lady in the next carriage amused (i think we'd had a bit too much sugar!) then onto the roadside for a picnic then onwards to cambridge for a bbq with gregs parents, and company..was a really nice afternoon if not a touch chilly..oh and i think i lost my contact in my eye not good! after that we headed back to walsall where i raced home, threw my stuff in the car and headed to upton to meet my sister at a camp site.. now i say camp site what i mean is beer garden with tents! elly and a bunch of freinds had headed down the day before so i joined them to complete my weekend.
monday we all packed up and headed for a castle..i had to go into first to get my car to go up the 1:9 hill! poor thing..we had a top spiffing day of laser clay pigion shooting, assault course and by that i mean true assault! crazy maze, archery, birds of prey, ferret racing, steam engines galore, a brass band, lots of food and sunshine!
i got back home monday evening and realised i was shattered! i think i was the only person to return to work not hungover but exhausted!
