hi folks not posted in eons..thanks for the prompts..in all honesty i've had a couple of drafts saved for a while now but i just havent finished them..one was this poem that i was so inspired to write when i was brushing my teeth, then i sat at the computer and my mind went blank..it was good honest!! guess you'll just have to take my word for it (i sound like a tenacious d song!)
i've aged since i last posted (stupid comment really of course i have..everyone has!!) it was my birthday, 21 this year! we had quite a quiet birthday cause i'd not long come out of hospital (i'll explain in a mo) but we went for student night on the monday and scott arranged for a cake covered in sparklers to be bought to where we were celebrating!! it was so sweet of him, someone does have some photos..i'll try and post them :) i went out this weekend with my mate to celebrate our birthdays we had a meal and then went to the cinema, we went for ice creams and hannah asked the guy how old he thought we were..i was gutted, he guessed i looked 27! ouch :/maybe it's my new boy hair do! we saw the exorcism of emily rose..we had to sit on the front row so i was bricking it thinking it'd be scary, instead it was just deafening..maybe we were too close up to get the full horror? a good film to see would be charlie and the chocolate factory..johnny depp being a major factor :) the girlies got me a HUGE poster of depp as willy mmm it's gorgeous..so it'll be going up in the loo :) we're revamping the loo at the moment cause all the posters have fallen down boo!!
i did another hair show and we went short this time so much so that i've been dubbed kieth at work! these past few weeks have been a real ego crusher!!
had some adventures since my last post including our trip to wales, took two attempts to get there though, the first time we ended up stranded on the m54 (think that's the road to wales?!?) and the car went kaput just after the lights ran out..how convenient!! we made it in the end and had an ace weekend..no surprises that the youths were the winners on the scavenger hunt (its what we do best!) there was an evening with a bonfire, fireworks, popcorn (which wound up on the bonfire) and plenty of sweets..much tomfoolery during the night, but i didn't take part, we had a delightful afternoon with tea and scones ;) we learnt how to make 'proper' tea, and what the lil dish is used for in conjunction with a tea strainer (we had to ask though!!) and other antics..check out greg's blog for more.
i landed myself in hospital, apparently i've torn my left lung, that's what you get for chucking it in the air and catching it i guess! i was the youngest person to be admitted to respiratory care unit, there's a claim to fame to aspire to!! that was heaps of fun, now i'm a flipping space cadet cause they have me on oh so many drugs, including these horse tranquilizer sized things three times a day and six steroids a day..i double up as a maraca :)
i'm into my course now at college..i do monday afternoons, tuesday mornings and all day thursday.my old job gave me a part time contract to suit my course so i do monday mornings, tuesday afternoons and all day friday..so i get thursday to study (aka flake out)
went to se my dad in bournemouth..had a scare on the way back..was driving in the fast lane (you betta believe it!) and i was approaching 100 and the car infront wasn't moving so i took my foot of the accelerator..sensible, except the pedal didnt move eeek i realised my mat had wedged the pedal down..so at 100 i'm scrabbling round the floor of my car to try and move the mat, suddenly it moved and the accelerator lifted the car suddenly slowed down..scary stuff, i shifted into the slow lane after that to chill out
oh gotta give a mention to adrenaline www.adrenaline.cjb.net they just won the kerrang unsigned award, and they've recorded some new stuff, so you can check it out online..they're playing a gig this friday, well worth a listen :)
i'm off on my travels again this weekend off to see bobbin in liverpool yay!! and then once i'm back ill be hitting the shops for some serious last minute christmas shopping argh! blood pressure soars just thinking of it!!
anyhew i'm gonna post this before the computer crashes for the squilionth time! and i'll maybe post soon.. ish tatty bye!!

yay we have a post!! oo not good bout hospital. hope your ok sweetie!! you need to update ur blog more often, then again, i get like lots of frees at school, so we tend to update ours then!! howz college going for you then? you enjoying it? love anneka! xxxx
