death toll rests at 19
hidi hi ladies and gents howdy do? for all of u a lil puzled by the title of my blog i'll now explain..as per usual i have a great excuse for not blogging! my beautiful baby has been being very cantancerous and has decided to take a dislike to fuses..by that i mean she's chewing them up and spitting them out! At a great rate of knotts! However she decided to start messing me about just as i set off for hastings to see papa.. i think she's getting lazy.. we went through 4 fuses before she chilled out and then I got to hastings no more dramas (yay i wont the battle of the will!!) I had a few days with dad, LC had a long rest and should have recouperated..i set off for home on saturday so i could be back for greg's borthday..LC had other ideas, cretin blew another fuse, dad decided it was a sign i should stay, i disagreed with that but decided maybe setting off that nght was unwise LC 1 Cathy 1.. Next day we put new fuses in, she spat them, so we called Mr RAC..he drove her up the road, down the roadm, reversed everything he could think of..she stayed sweet and didnt blow a fuse! Naughty car! Mr RAC having only the blown shells of 6 fuses to go on ararnged for recovery to get me home as the fuse LC was takig a dislike to had my brak lights, indicators, reverse lights, fuel gagae and temperature gage on (kinda important!!)
So mr Bill Knight of Rye recovery to the rescue..lazy lc on the back and me in the cab.. LC 2 cathy 1..
Took about four hours for us to get back by which time greg's dinner could've taken place 3 times! Me and bill had a lufly chat and to be honest i was sort of relieved not to have to drive, plus it saved me some fule.. We saw a de lorian on the way back (back to the future car) it was so cool..later we saw it on the hard shoulder haha
Anyhew, LC got off the truck and blew the fuse! GRRRRR I've tried not to drive her cause it's costing a fortune in fuses plus it results in having to pull over and replace a fuse mid-journey..it got really frustrating too cause there's no flippin method in her madness..one journey can blow 4 fuses and then next time not even one!
The puzzled car whisperer came over and LC continued to play up..when we woggled the wheel (which is the technical term) it blew so he left to think..
Tonight he returned triumpjhant! The brake light wire was bare and rubbing on something in the steering column, so he's fixed it and we're back on the road. So the scores on the doors are LC 19 fuses 0 and Cathy 1 LC 2 Car whisperer 1
